Ltd. (referred to as "Company"), along with its representatives and agents (collectively referred to as "Chip Aik," "us," "we," or "our").

1.1 In this Privacy Policy:

• when you enter into any transaction, agreement or provide other documentation or information in respect of your interactions with us, including any application for a refund;

• when you apply for a job with us; 
• when you submit forms (online or otherwise) relating to any of our Products, or submit any online queries (including queries for a quotation or a service);
• when your images are captured by us via CCTV cameras while you are within our property and/or premises;

2.3 If you provide us with any Personal Data relating to a third-party  (e.g. information on your dependent, spouse, children and/or parents), by submitting such information to us, you represent and warrant that the collection, use and disclosure of that Personal Data to us, as well as the further collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of that Personal Data by us for the purposes set out below, is lawful, and you have obtained the consent of the third-party  to provide us with their Personal Data.

PURPOSES FOR THE USE OF PERSONAL DATA
3.1 In general, we collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data for the following purposes: 

• to communicate with you, provided that we may monitor or record your calls and store details of the phone number(s) you use to make calls to us. This information is used to better address your customer service needs;
• to process and manage your product reservation(s), purchase order(s) and payment(s) online, any subsequent delivery or self-collection, as well as any returns, refunds or product recalls, and/or to perform obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of Products requested and/or purchased by you;
•  to answer your questions, feedbacks, product reviews, enquiries or complaints in relation to our Products and resolve the case maybe, any issue which may arise in connection with any dealing with us;
•  to contact you (including by email or SMS) about functionality changes to our website; 
• to conduct market research or surveys, marketing analysis, customer profiling activities, analysis of customer choices, statistical and trend analysis in relation to our Products; 
• to improve your experience on our website; 
• to monitor the quality of our Products and/or website, and for corporate reporting; 
• to comply with any of our contractual obligations, and/or any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;

3.2 In addition, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, if you submit an application to us as a candidate for employment or an internship, or are an existing employee of Chip Aik, we may collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data for the following purposes: 

• for management and/or evaluative purposes, including without limitation to process your application, to conduct any pre-recruitment checks, and/or to provide or obtain employee references or other references where relevant for background screening and/or vetting;
• for personnel administration, including to administer benefits (including without limitation insurance) and payroll processing, to administer or execute employee remuneration schemes, and/or to facilitate his/her employment-related work activities; 
• to enter into an employment relationship with you or appoint you to any office; 
• to manage or terminate the employment relationship with you or appoint you, including without limitation role assessment, job compatibility assessment, career progression and/or management of staffing requirements; and/or
• for purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid. 

3.3 Furthermore, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, and were permitted under Data Protection Laws, we may also collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data for any of the following purposes:

• to send you invitation(s) to form part of our consumer panel, testing product, interviews or research groups (unless you unsubscribe from receiving marketing material from Chip Aik);
• to contact you regarding current or new Products offered by Chip Aik (unless you unsubscribe from receiving marketing material from us); 
• to inform you of new features, special offers and sales promotions offered by Chip Aik (unless you unsubscribe from receiving marketing material from us); and/or
• to match Personal Data with other data collected for other purposes and from other sources (including third parties) in connection with the customisation, provision or offering of products, services, marketing or promotions, whether Chip Aik or other third parties.

3.4 If you have provided us with your Singapore telephone number(s) and have indicated that you consent to receiving marketing or promotional information via your Singapore telephone number(s), then from time to time, we may contact you using such Singapore telephone number(s) (including via voice calls, text, fax or other means) with information about our products and services.

3.5 In relation to particular products or services or in your interactions with us, we may also have specifically notified you of other purposes for which we collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data. If so, we will collect, use, disclose and/or process your Personal Data for these additional purposes as well, unless we have specifically notified you otherwise.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
4.1 Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, you hereby agree, acknowledge and consent that your Personal Data may be disclosed for any of the purposes listed above in this Privacy Policy (as applicable) to the following entities or parties located in Singapore: 

• amongst the Chip Aik staff; 
• contractors, agents, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business. These include but are not limited to those which provide administrative or other services to us such as delivery service providers, insurance providers, payment processing service providers, web analytics tool providers, mailing houses, telecommunication companies, information technology companies and data centres;
• vendors or third-party  service providers and our marketing and business partners in connection with any Products and/or marketing promotions;
• our corporate clients;
• any business partner, investor, assignee or transferee (actual or prospective) to facilitate business asset transactions (which may extend to any merger, acquisition or asset sale);
• external banks, credit card companies, other financial institutions and their respective service providers;
• our professional advisers such as consultants, auditors and lawyers;
• relevant government ministries, regulators, statutory boards or authorities or law enforcement agencies to comply with any laws, rules, guidelines and regulations or schemes imposed by any governmental authority; and/or
• any other party to whom you authorise us to disclose your Personal Data to.

4.2 We may share information about you in aggregate or anonymised form, for example, information regarding business product related reviews, with the above-mentioned entities or parties (e.g. our business partners).

5.1 Chip Aik protects Personal Data in its possession or under its control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent (a) unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal, or similar risks, and (b) the loss of any storage medium or device on which Personal Data is stored.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
6.1 You may access, update or remove your Personal Data which we have collected and stored about you, or limit their processing and/or use. You may also send a request to correct any error or omission in your Personal Data. You may do so in the following ways: 

• contact us by using the contact details set out at Clause 9; 
• you may also decline to receive e-mails by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ in any marketing e-mail you receive or through our newsletter campaign.

6.2 We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to enable us to update any Personal Data we have about you. Incomplete or outdated Personal Data may result in our inability to provide, or delays in providing you with Products which you have requested, or processing any requests and applications you may have made to us.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE OF GOODS 

Chip Aik Aluminium (Pte) Ltd is the” COMPANY” referred to and the “BUYER” is the party who accepts a quotation or sales order for the sale of the goods or whose order for the goods is accepted by the Company. By issuing your Purchase Order (PO) or signed quotation/sales order, you agree to accept our terms and conditions set out below. 

1. Order of Goods 

• Timing for order of goods 

¹ Subjected to clause 3(A). 

• For urgent items, kindly arrange for self-collection from our warehouse at 11 Kian Teck Way, Singapore 628736.

• A minimum order of S$300.00 for Aluminium Extrusions & S$500.00 for Aluminium Sheets (excluding GST) is required for delivery to factory locations with forklift/manpower for unloading. Otherwise, a delivery surcharge will be imposed for orders below S$300.00.
  • Delivery to Jurong, Tuas, Woodlands – Minimum surcharge of S$60.00 
  • Delivery to other areas (Job sites / Residential Houses/ Commercial Buildings / CBD Area) – Minimum surcharge of S$100.00 
  • Delivery out of normal operating hours 

2. Quality & Packing of Goods 

• Goods are of satisfactory quality and we do not guarantee that goods are free from minor defects (e.g. scratches). Quality inspection is based on manufacturer’s quality standards. 
• Please highlight to our sales personnel if you require goods of high-quality standards and/or goods to be individually wrapped. Unless specifically agreed in writing by our sales staff, all goods sold will be delivered unpacked and/or wrapped in a bundle. 

3. Delivery 

• The Company will make all reasonable efforts to deliver goods within the time or by the dates stipulated in quotations and sales contract but these times and dates are given and intended only as estimates and the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage indirect or direct caused to the customer by late delivery. 
• For the delivery of goods to a 3rd party location (e.g. work site/ fabricator/ coater): 
  • the Buyer shall appoint the receiver of goods at the 3rd party location to check the quantities and conditions of all items on delivery. Any claims on deficiency or dispute will not be entertained after seven (7) working days upon receipt of goods. 
  • the Buyer shall accept the signature acknowledgement of the receiver of goods at the 3rd party location on the receipt of goods. 
• Delivery for indent goods has to be made within seven (7) days after the Company has notified the Buyer that the goods are ready for delivery. Thereafter, the Company shall be entitled to arrange storage for the goods and all charges for storage shall be paid by the Buyer. 

4. Exchange/ Returns Policy 

• Any claim by the Buyer regarding the goods shall be filed within seven (7) working days after the goods have been delivered to the factory. 
• Refunds are not allowed. Any exchange of goods is subjected to approval from the management. Goods that have undergone secondary processes (coating, sanding, installation, etc) will not be accepted for exchange. 
• If Buyer ordered the wrong items and request to return goods, a 20% surcharge on the invoice amount or $30, whichever is higher, will be imposed. Buyer is required to deliver the goods back to the company in good condition, otherwise, the Company reserve the right to reject the return. 
• The Company will not be liable or will compensate for any expenditure or loss arising out of any defect in the goods delivered (e.g. additional sorting costs or re-work done to the goods). The Company’s liability shall be strictly limited to replacement of any defective goods, after such defective goods have been returned. 

5. Payment 

• For overdue accounts, the Company shall have the right to suspend all further deliveries and credit status. Any overdue account will be charged with 1.5% interest per month. 
• All items delivered remain the property of CHIP AIK ALUMINIUM PTE LTD. The Company reserves the right to recover the goods delivered unless payment has been made in full. 
• Please note that any overdue payment/s will be listed in DP SME Credit Bureau database and this record may be assessed by financial institutions and other approving credit companies. 
• The director or shareholder of the Buyer’s company shall be liable for outstanding accounts which are overdue for more than 6 months.
