Fluorocarbon (PVDF) Coating

Fluorocarbon (PVDF) Coating

In the fluorocarbon coating process, a 2-coat or 3-coat system is applied electrostatically to the product, using coatings made of PVDF fluoropolymer resin and inorganic ceramic pigments, which is then heated to polymerise and cure the coating.

These PVDF coatings do not react to most chemicals and solvents and have very good wear-abrasion resistance. PVDF coatings are considered one of the most durable coatings by far as they can last for decades without chalking or fading.
